“S.N.A.K.E. – metamorphosis in progress” – Shannon’s first piece with live musician

– with violist Olga Hansen

A snake is dangerous – that’s what we believe – yet the snake itself is in great danger when she sheds her skin. The shedding is necessary in order to continue to live and to grow, to grow a new skin which will then, in turn, be shed. Since ancient times the snake hast been seen as a symbol of transformation, for the expansion of consciousness, for the feminine, for fertility and sensuality. Sacred yet deeply feared. Transformational yet possibly deadly. A growth process not without risk – S.N.A.K.E. – metamorphosis in progress.
